      The theme of this year's Helping Families Change Conference is Promoting effective parenting in diverse ethnocultural contexts: Fostering positive parent-child interactions around the world. Consistent with this theme, participants will learn about the latest developments pertaining to prevention and early intervention of child maltreatment, promotion of effective parenting on a broad scale, intervention and treatment methods with families facing difficult situations.
